Looking for Breakfast? Here are ten brunch places, all-day menu spots, and cafes with the best breakfast in Brisbane.
They say that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I would agree vehemently. I found that on the days I had a hearty breakfast, I ate less during the day, had more energy and was in a great mood. On that note, the converse is true, a bad meal, whichever it is, leaves you in a horrible mood. We understood that. That is why in this one, we combined our own experience together with data from customer feedback, to give you our opinion of the ten best breakfast spots in the city. Kindly note that gold coast has not been included in our list. We’ll do a separate article for it. For now, take a look.
1. Smoked Paprika
Smoked Paprika is one of the absolute best spots in the city for breakfast. The establishment keeps getting five-start after five-star and for a reason. Actually three reasons. Smoke Paprika has a great atmosphere- cozy, relaxed and light. It has great food! The servings are more than generous too. They also have a kids menu- which is always a plus. Customer service is great too.

2. Double Shot
Double Shot is one of th best cafes in the city, in our opinion. It’s easy to overlook small cafes. That is unless you know the well-known secret- that many times, the best food comes from the smallest kitchens! As the name suggests, Double Shot will serve you great coffee- but they do so much more!
For breakfast, beyond your usual poached eggs and french toast, you may order smoked salmon, frittata, Croque Madames and so much more. Their menu is diverse. Other small details like the fact that they always leave a bowl of water for customer’s dogs outside, give Double Shot even more points.

3. Bachus
Bachus is for those who want that extra touch. We’ve featured this restaurant on our list of the best restaurants in Brisbane. It so turns out that it has a very popular breakfast menu! The restaurant’s atmosphere alone is enough to help you start your day on the right tone. The staff are great too as are the meals. Visit their website for the menu.

5. Lady Marmalade
Lady Marmalade doesn’t pretend to be one of the high-end Brisbane restaurants. That’s not its goal anyway. This establishment wants to serve you hearty breakfast meals- reminiscent to what you’d have at home. Their day breakfast menu achieves this. Customer feedback overwhelmingly suggests that its one of the best breakfast spots in the city. Expect to find hearty soups, amazing sandwiches and other common breakfast items- fried egg and the like.

6. Morning After
I’m not quite sure what inspired this incredible name, but I must say, the name alone lures me to this restaurant. Located right in the city’s west end, Morning After is another great breakfast option. It sounds like somewhere you’d go after a long night in Petrie Terrace.
I was well pleased to find out that Morning After is a mother and son owned business. Their establishment is cozy but light- a vibe I look for, for my mornings. They have a sizable menu, I’m sure you’ll find something to like.
